Historic cafés and restaurants, artisan stores and workshops reveal the wealth of different flavours and aromas of the city’s irresistible sweet and savoury traditions. Depending on the season and the time available, this itinerary leads visitors on a discovery of the food artisans who have brought traditional flavours back to life. The tour also takes in the city’s historic and artistic highlights found in the caruggi and the squares of Genoa’s old city centre.

The ideal location for the end of the tour is the MOG, the Oriental Market of Genoa in Via XX Settembre, with its wide array of mouth-watering delicacies.
